  • Data Storage: We utilize Amazon Web Services (AWS) to securely store your data.
  • Data Accessibility: Your data is only viewable by you and requires authentication with our authentication provider, Google Firebase, ensuring its confidentiality.
  • Customer Support In connection with a customer support case, a representative of Cash Compass may ask you for a customer support access token, this is a temporary token, generated by you, that enables customer support to access your account data. Without this token, customer support can only access general data about your account (email, subscription status, number of transactions, number of accounts, etc.) Note, this process is currently in development, your actual experience with customer support may vary.
  • Data Security: We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online. Your data is stored encrypted at rest and has minimal access configured to operate the service.

Use of Data

  • Service Provision: We use the collected data for various purposes, such as to provide and maintain our service, to notify you about changes to our service, and to provide customer support.
  • AI Features: To power our AI features, we utilize APIs provided by OpenAI. These APIs have their own privacy policies, but they adhere to privacy-oriented practices to protect your information.

Third-Party Services

  • OpenAI: Our use of OpenAI's services is governed by their privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies to understand how they handle data.
  • Google Firebase: As our authentication provider, Google Firebase's privacy practices also apply to some aspects of our service.

  • AWS Simple Email Service: AWS SES is used for sending automated emails (Account creation, subscription status changes, AI summaries, etc.). For more information, please visit their privacy policy.

Your Data Protection Rights

  • Access and Control: You have the right to access, update, or delete the information we have on you. Any requests to access or delete your personal data can be made through your account settings or by contacting us.
  • Data Export: At any time, you can access the Data Import/Export tools from your Account page. These tools enable you to export all of your account data in a format that may be importable into other tools or utilized for any purpose.
  • Data Deletion: At any time, you can delete your Cash Compass account, this will initiate the permanent deletion of all of your account data. After deletion, you will receive a final email from Cash Compass indicating the successful deletion. If you do not receive this email, please reach out to us and we will ensure that your data has been deleted.
